Tara's Home Reveal

The biggest challenges in Tara's home were maximizing the small living space, and where o' where  to put the "TV" without breaking up the great room. We were tempted to get rid of it all together, but in the end we were able to install it on the wall with an adjustable arm that made it easy to view from the family room or kitchen. We also were on a tight budget. I think that is what I love most about this remodel is that it looks great, and was done without spending a fortune.  Tara painted some of her older furniture, reused her old kitchen table as a computer desk, sewed her own roman shades, and also saved money by having the kitchen cabinets painted rather than replaced. I also had fun scouring the local home stores and internet for discount furniture and accessories.  I love how this home went from feeling dark and small to bright and spacious. ~See the post below for the before and after photos...
