I know I've talked a lot about color, and what to wear color wise. Today, I wanted to mention texture...I love to add a ruffle, a tweed jacket, a feather, lace, leather, metal, chunky scarf, or even a big beaded necklace... anything that isn't just plain cotton, and mix different textures. It helps make the photo pop, and not seem so one dimensional.

I love this family photo, the hat and the tweed jackets are fab...
chunky cable tights, and RUFFLES with wool... so much texture it looks like you can grab it!
and love the feathered skirt, with the lace, and metal belt accent..
Please tell Spencer he needs to wear that outfit that man is wearing in that picture for our family pictures. I will be giddy with excitement to see his reaction to that. Hysterical. I can't wait for Britt to start dressing like that. HA!
