My cute friend Julie who just flew home yesterday from living on an island in Spain with two little ones.. (which is quite a fete, if I don't say) asked me to do a post on what to wear with colored skinny jeans..

You really you can get away pairing them with pretty much anything.
                                                           Color Blocking is also a huge trend right now..so anything goes..

My Top 3 items to pair with colored skinny jeans would be...

Perfect Pink Skinnies!

Ever since JCREW came out with their peachy/pink colored skinnies with zippered ankles..I've been lusting over them a little bit. Not willing to pay $125 but still dreaming of them.. guess what.....Forever has them now......!! EEEK !!!.. so cute! You can really wear them with ANYTHING which is another reason they are so great, I chose two shirts that I think would be cute and casual, but really, a lace top, a denim top, even a bright coral would look so great with these jeans. I love the bag too. So fun!

Thursday Family Photo Tip

I know I've talked a lot about color, and what to wear color wise. Today, I wanted to mention texture...I love to add a ruffle, a tweed jacket, a feather, lace, leather, metal, chunky scarf, or even a big beaded necklace... anything that isn't just plain cotton, and mix different textures. It helps make the photo pop, and not seem so one dimensional.

I love this family photo, the hat and the tweed jackets are fab...

 chunky cable tights, and RUFFLES with wool... so much texture it looks like you can grab it!

and love the feathered skirt, with the lace, and metal belt accent..
